Memorial Concert for Ishbel MacAskill
A memorial concert is to be held to celebrate the life of Gaelic singer Ishbel MacAskill who died at the end of March.
The event will take place on Thursday June 16th @ 7:30pm in the Empire Theatre, Eden Court, Inverness.
Confirmed to appear are Sheena Wellington, Elspeth Cowie, Arthur Cormack & Blair Douglas, Emma Christian, Eilidh, Gillian and Fiona MacKenzie, Duncan Chisholm, Dougie Pincock, Ian Blake (poet) and Paddy Bushe (poet).
Ishbel's grandson, Charlie Grey, currently a pupil at the Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music at Plockton, will appear along with his band Good Question.
